Toshiba service in Spore sucks!!!

Okie after 2 years my old laptop was down and I've been thru' a lot of problems buying a new desktop as well as a new laptop for my HYP (lots of money lost grrr), finally I've managed to bring the old laptop which was said to cost 1800$ for repair here back home.

And guess what happened? It costs 10US$ at home to repair and now it's on again!!! OMG!!! I really want to smack the whole toshiba service system over here!!! grrrr! Look how much money I've had to afford for my PCs system over the last 3 years!!! I guess noone is richer than me with 1 desktop and 2 laptops!! Not counting Bill Gates and some dudes like him, certainly I'm the most luxurious person in NUS T_T

Now what now what? How much should I sell the old one? Actually although it was bought 3 years ago, I havn't used it for nearly 2 years, and so it's considered to be quite new. Arghh stupid Toshiba!!! I wanna kill u !!

First day as ISA

FYI, ISA stands for Int' Student Ambassador. Hee yeah it's part of I-Care Project, a volunteer project in NUS. First day at work, not much to do, I've become good frens with the photocopier and the cutter. But I guess it's gonna be v different next week when freshmen come to apply for their student's pass.

The thing I like the most about the work is getting to know ppl there, very nice ones. Ms.Ruth and Ms.Haslina are super cute. Then all of the other ISAs are also very nice (which is normal for volunteer students ... like me *hee hee*), eee Ky, you just accidentally fall into this kind of category :p!

Today Ky and I had dinner with Chin Yong, one of the ISAs. He is the only one that I didn't talk to yesterday during the training session, but he turned out to be a super funny guy instead of his appearance. He made us nearly fall off the chair when he thought we're bf and gf. Oh dear I'd rather stay single for the rest of my life then!! He's very frenly and caring too. Hee it's real nice to get to know more new frens.

I've been v busy since I returned to Singapore last Thursday. It's lucky coz' I don't have much time to be homesick, I even had HYP group meeting on Sun!! What a group, hikzz!!

Anyway still have things to do tomorrow, but I'm yawning already! Yuk when and how to finish installing the globus + SGE + EPIC now? T_T

I'm back :(

The first feeling I've got when I came back to Spore is ... I wanna sleep beside Mum. I really wanna be at home, lazing around, watching TV, feeling hot ...

It's been a long time since I last felt this homesick... When will I finally be there ..
