Mali

Such a surprise today to get a call from Mali. At first I thought someone at his number was calling a wrong number, coz' I thought he changed his number long ago, but then ... *heee* really a nice surprise to hear his voice again. It has been 1 year already ...

Mali is the first gay I've ever known in my life :p. Maybe there are others too but they never talk about themselves so openly as Mali does. Haha you may find it strange, but I really think he's 1 of the cutest gays ever. His dream is to be able to go to Thailand one day to do operation to become a ... girl *sweat*. Hee unbelievable but yeah, I do have such a fren :p.

Apart from his "lover" life which I never want, cum never dare, to ask about, he's really a kind soul who helped me a lot during my time working as a part-timer in S-Pizza. He talks all day but is always very serious in work. He seems to be going on well with everyone, but try to slack at work once, you'll know how scary he may become.

When I was working there last summer, I did observe him a lot and I find he's rather ... ideal; hahahah dont laugh, but in the sense that he has the body of a guy, which helps him when he needs strength, but on the other hand, he has a mind and soul of a girl, which makes him appear to be very sensitive to other's thoughts and feelings :p.

After I left S-Pizza, he did care a lot to ask how everything was going on, but after a while I lost contact with him. Today is such a good day ^_^

Will go back to S-Pizza soon to visit him and ... argghhh huhu what's the name of the female cook, how could I forget? T_T ... (or maybe to take back a pizza for ... free? hahaha)

Bad and good.

Bad is the morning, and good is the afternoon.

Woke up so early today, at 7:30 with the intention of getting the voucher given by Media Corp last time from a fren. But right when I was all ready and prepared at the bus stop, he called me up to say he forgot to bring it. Tiao ... wanna go back to sleep but on half way already so decided to go to lab instead.

For the 1st time ever, I've realized that I'm getting ... fat! I've never worried about my weight, even though I know I'm going to outweight Shu, and certainly now I'm heavier than Ha, but those 2 are the ones who always complain about their shape, whereas I'm sooo happy everytime I see myself gaining 500gr ...

errr about In, can I not compare with you? Heee heeee *wink*

However, today I did begin to worry about it. Went to the library in the morning, and found out they were doing some renovation work with the electricity. Hence ... no lift!!! How long has it been since the last time I climbed the stairs? Every morning I do guys! Climb up to my lab, but it's just 2nd floor. This is 5 floors above me ...

5 floors, shouldnt be a problem then, but to tell the truth, I felt like I was running out of breath! and I can't even walk up on myself without leaning on the banister... oh dear how fat could fat be? T_T

Think I should pick up running again, starting tonite. Anyone wanna join me? ;;)

Went out to meet Elise at 3pm today, but she din turn out till 3:30, aiyooo that kid, considering tardiness to be a mode ah, hmmph! So kiddy she is!!! Anyway she compensated to my patience by a box of egg tart, *drool*, hee hee I've got quite a few for u guys, so come fast, or nothing left, coz' egg tart is my favorite *drool drool* =p~

Finished a day phewwzz...

Friday is always a tiring day for me. So many meetings man!!!

Woke up at ... think 8:30 today. Yesterday I din go to sleep until 3:30, so that's considered early haha. After that went straight to lab, spent the whole morning working on that XSensorxxx stuff to finally find no clue about it except the stupid Listen thing. Anyway din know that I was going the wrong way until the meeting with sup in the afternoon eeekkk!! So I'll have to do it all again >_<. When am I going to finish the assignment huh? :(

Had a drink with the gorilla after the meeting. It has really been ages since the last time I got all the treats. Gorilla is still so hard to handle haha!

Then came the weekly I-CreAct meeting, arghh so stressed. Poor Shu, getting all the tough work on her own :(. Feeling like too bad can't do anything good enough to help :( ...

And now heading for the HYP, it's really getting tough, and I'm lagging behind. Focus now, focus focus!

Each and everyday passing by, I'm finding out that Spore sky has more stars than I used to think it does, hmm guess u only need to look more carefully, and with ur heart .. ~hee~~ . 1 year left before I go ~~ta ta~~...

Software rambling

Of all the softwares I've put my hands on, Adobe Premiere is the one that ... I must say ... really sucks. Grrr!!!

1. Firstly, it's the only good video editor out there which is capable of performing all kinds of effects we need, hence I can't find any good replacement for it. Windows Movie Maker can also do some jobs, but I hate it also when I cant figure out how to speed up the clip as how we want, it can only doubles the speed, hmmph!

2. Adobe Premiere cannot import .avi files. WTH!!! Hence I had to convert each and every file to .mpeg, which inarguably reduces the quality quite a lot T_T

3. Exporting files is another factor that contributes to making the final product look like it has been captured with the first camera ever invented in the history. And too bad, after all the efforts, I still cannot improve it >_<

4. Last but not least, on the contrary, the worst: it takes thousands of years to run, and it occupies half of In's lappy's RAM space, even my desky cant run normally while it's doing its favorite routine which is some heck I dont even know. And if you happen to want to build 1 min of video after editing, *hah* all u can do is leave it there for like ... 1 hour, go eating, sleeping, reading mangas, anything you can think of, then come back, AND to find this "NOT RESPONDING" dialog pop up on your dear screen. What worse could it be !?!?!?

Lessons learnt: when you need to build a video with Adobe Premiere, build for each 4s, then combine them together, dont try your head off to build 2 mins of it at one time. But this is also too time-consuming and effort-wasting, hence never use Adobe Premiere to edit video. But ... nothing can replace it with so many effects it can provide ... hence final lesson: never do video editing. Hehe!!!

Laboratories

running out of what to blog about *hee* ...

Although I've got quite a number of labs: sma lab with a cubical to myself, honor lab with a PC under my admin, graphics lab, media lab with super duper high speed comps, I still like PC lab on Soc1, #8 a lot. Sometimes it's too cold, but still I like that lab :D. Why so? I guess besides the fact that it has a very large and comfortable space, another interesting thing is at times when I feel bored, I can just relax myself and watch the ppl over there talking, discussing, quarelling, or watever they are doing. It's fun looking at those I know clearly about without any idea of theirs about me. So always be careful when you blog, there may be nosy ppl out there (like me) watching over you haha...

I wanna blog smt, but I dont know what I wanna talk about, hmmm, let it go then!

Do you happen to know what and where I can bang my head into? No not smt soft plzz, I've got such a rocky head that even though I did knock my head against the wall AND the chair while I was sleeping, it is just a little bit swollen. I want it to CRACK!!!! grrr CRACK!!!

And guess what I've got as a gift today?

My exam result ... *hah* what a gift!!! As bad as usual *sob sob*

I've finally changed my air ticket. I'll be back at home from June 25 till July 14. Dont miss me then guys :p. After all, I made my journey 19 day-long, despite evil sup's wish. Time flies time flies, listen to me, 3 weeks flies away NOW!!! (phewzz, guess I have to wait another 3 weeks for it to come true *hee*)

My sup is beginning to think that I'm such a studious student coz' he always sees me in SMA lab. Oops if only he knows I'm there to do video editing or to listen to music, he might have collapsed ... OKie not that bad, I'm working on HYP too, but it's getting slower hmm. How to go faster any clues? Guess I'm just a little bit excited about coming back home ...

Lately I've been addicted to Anh1 02 - 05 Ams photo album. Arghh how come all the cuties and beautiful girls go to that class. So bad I'm not a guy *hiak hiak*
